Einevarden is a detached bird mountain located west of the fishing town of Måløy. Einevarden is about 70 meters high and is the second largest bird mountain in southern Norway. Einevarden can be visited by a boat trip from Måløy. You can also drive to Kråkenes mountain and walk out to mountain Nobba where you then have a great view of the cairn. It is steep down so be careful.
Nowadays, it is mostly auks and guillemots that nest on the bird mountain. In the past you could climb up and harvest the eggs, but now the mountain is protected. If you want to visit this beautiful bird mountain, you can contact us at Explore 62 North and we will make a great boat trip according to your wishes!
