Experience the popular goats in

Ulvesund lighthouse is located at Hjertenes just north of Måløy. Ulvesund lighthouse has been a bright spot for seafarers since 1870 and was automated in 1985. We want it to be a bright spot in everyday life for our guests. The lighthouse is one of four lighthouses that show the sailors safely around Stadthavet, which is one of the roughest and most weather-exposed stretches of sea along the Norwegian coast.

The lighthouse was restored in the summer of 2003, and the opening for public operation was 8 - 10 August 2003. The operation today consists of rental, accommodation, dining, cultural program and lighthouse café with exhibition and creative activities. Our most photographed are the two popular goats we have in the lighthouse garden in the summer.

Ulvesund lighthouse is warm and quiet inside Ulvesundet, surrounded by a sunny garden that abounds with flowers and berries. Here you have a full overview of the boat traffic and the rapidly changing light by the island Silda, and you can enjoy colorful and peaceful sunsets.
