We have now been in Stjordal, at the end of Trondheims fjord and bought this beautifull grand dame SY Westland.
Westland is built in Aukra, outside Molde by Vaagen Shipdesign. Westland are inspired by the famous Colin Archer with pilothouse. Westland is 45 feet with a weight of 24 tonn, so she is quite solid built. The hull is built by gluing together three layers of solid wood and one layer with sandwich.

Westland takes about 7 passengers and a staff of 2, one skipper and one chef/matros. The further plan for Westland is to sail 4 day trips with the French consept of ski & sail in the Sunnmore alps in Hjorundfjord. We are also going to expolore Nordfjord with activities like surfing, hiking, mountain biking, kayakking and climbing the Via Ferrata.

We are now leaving Trondheim where we have mounted the sails and fixed some wires. Sailing back home to Maaloy. We need to get the ship ready for our first customers trip. We have to do some painting and cleaning tbefore the old lady is in ship shape and ready for new adventures.
